Construction Leadership Class

Program Commitment & Cost:
The Construction Leadership Committee is a two-year commitment with a total program cost of $2,000. Courses and meetings will require travel to various locations throughout the state of Wyoming, providing participants with the opportunity to learn from and engage with construction professionals statewide.
 
2026 Dates:
  • April 15 – Laramie
  • Oct 15 – Cheyenne
  • Dec 10 – Casper

Sign-ups are open now, and all interested individuals are encouraged to apply. Your business does not need to be a member of AGC of Wyoming to participate.

A workbook will be included and is designed to keep attendee’s attention and to document mini action plans for immediate implementation. One year worth of email and phone support to all attendees to help implement and use the topics learned is also included.

Meeting #3: Discussion Leadership
  • Business interaction
  • How a leader delivers customer service
  • Workplace scenario discussions

  • Expectations and Accountability
  • How to give correct praise and correction
  • Building loyalty and unity within your team
 
Meeting #2: Trust and Its Affect on Leadership
  • Review trust taxes and dividends
  • How does trust affect my business relationships?
  • How does trust affect my leadership?
  • How trust can change the speed of business.
  • Discuss in detail the thirteen behaviors of high-trust leaders.
  • Practice communicating – transparently, respectfully, and directly.
  • Identify how to extend appropriate levels of trust.
  • Help individuals model trust through character and competency.
