Program OverviewThe Associated General Contractors of Wyoming (AGC) has partnered with the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) to establish a Federal On-the-Job Training Program (OJT).

- Is customized for AGC of Wyoming members.
- Focuses on training minority groups, disadvantaged persons, and women in highway construction.
Training ClassificationsMultiple classifications are offered under the program, including:
- Carpenter
- Concrete Finisher
- Power Equipment Operator
- Truck Driver
- Welder

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow many trainees do I need?The number of required trainees depends on your company’s average gross receipts over the past three years. This applies to companies bidding on and being awarded Federal-aid highway construction contracts.
How much do trainees get paid?Trainees are paid based on a progressively increasing wage schedule as they develop skills.
How do I report and track hours?Submit a Monthly Status Report for each trainee, including both training and non-training hours.

- Wages comply with the Davis-Bacon Act prevailing rates for the county of work.
